1. What gets checked before lifting?

The provider checks the slab, joints, cracks, edges, nearby structures, water flow, access, and past repairs. Measurements show which edges are high or low.

This check may show that the slab needs more study, another expert, or replacement instead of lifting.

2. How is the lift planned?

The provider chooses the material, opening size, placement points, and order of work. The plan should fit the slab size, joints, cracks, support concerns, and lift goal.

Tell the provider about known utility lines, drains, sprinklers, pipes, and past work. Hidden conditions still require care.

3. How is movement controlled?

Material goes under the slab while the provider watches pressure and movement. The goal may be added support, a lift, or both.

The proposal should give a clear target, not promise perfection. Cracks, steel, binding, and nearby surfaces may limit the lift.

4. What should happen before the job ends?

The openings are patched. The provider should review the final height, remaining cracks or edges, use timing, limits, and any water or movement concerns still left.

Keep the scope, material, warranty, and care steps in writing. Take photos and save them with the property records.
